Passport 2890RL

Considering purchasing this trailer. Does anyone have any experience with this trailer or Bullet over all?
Thanks for input!

We had the 2890RL for nearly three years, nice starter trailer... Lot of open space, small kitchen counter, really small bathroom, plastic commode... We enjoyed it but couldn't wait to get something that fit us better...

It was too much trailer for our 145" F150 and nearly beat us into submission... Although that really wasn't the fault of the trailer.. After spending thousands of wasted dollars on gimmicks to make the truck handle the trailer, I finally gave up and bought a diesel F250... pulled it without even blinking...

Kinda surprised on the to much trailer for F150, Dry wait is only 5500.

Weight wasn't the issue...

Length.... think of a 336" X 120" sail behind a 145" pickup....

The trailer wins that fight in any kind of wind.. And I live in Texas where a light breeze is 15 miles an hour.. Tried LT tires, fancy hitches and sway control, airbags, supper duty shocks... Finally fixed it with an F250...

We are into our 2nd year with a 2890. So far only problem was a/c that died and was covered by warranty. Dometic sent new unit 2nd day delivery and dealer had it installed the next day. Does the one you are looking at have 15,000 unit or the 13.5? We have the 15 and on a recent trip we ended up in a campsite with no trees and mid 90's temps. Stayed a comfortable level inside.

We have done several mods to the interior cabinets and added a foldup counter extension which follows the contour of the counter top. Pulling with a Tundra Dbl Cab, v8 motor. Recent trip to Texas avg. 9.4 mpg. Maintained 60/65 speed. Just two of us and this floorplan works perfect for us.
