We have been travelling through the Okanagon Valley in BC. Stayed at West Bay Resort in Kelowna. Very nice campground. Right on Okanagon Lake. Internet, cable tv and full hook up. Private beach for the campers staying there.
Moved to Osoyoos and are staying at Island View Campground. Another great spot with all the same stuff as in Kelowna. Sights are very nice, level and the private beach is right across the road.
One thing we discovered is that the Provincial campgrounds in BC have no services.
Beautiful country and so many different winerys. We have stopped at many and have a very abundant supply of wine to take home.

BC isn't alone on upgrading their Provincial Parks. Hubby & I have been doing a few day roadies in our car, checking out parks...most seem to be for small units and if there is a site that could handle our unit getting it in is almost impossible due to trees or bushes that would ruin ones units very quickly. Seems if you have a larger unit you are stuck in the open as we saw in a large park in the Kananaskis area. Seems Parks Canada around here aren't keeping up with the times, as units are getting bigger not smaller!
