Wow! Nice forum. I use to be over at the KRVCG forum until it closed so I see a number of members from over there actively involved in this forum. Really neat to see some of these Keystone RVers still out there helping folks along.

Its been a long time since I did any camping forum but as most shoppers do, I searched around for info. on specific Keystone lines and came across this forum
I currently have a Keystone Zeppelin and just ordered a Cougar Xlite new floor plan: 28RBS.
We love the floor plan by design but we have this leary feeling buying a unit without actually walking it before buying/ordering (none have been built to be delivered to dealers of the new 2012 year model).
Really looking forward to getting a bigger unit and an upgrade of the perks and options of the Cougar line.
To tow I have a 1/2 ton Chevy truck with a 5.3L with the 6 speed auto. I should have about 1500 lbs to play with on the carrying weight side but the unit is so new no actual specs. are posted so I may have to visit the scales once I get her to be certain.

Any way, that's my introduction. I hope to pop in soon to share some highlights of the new 2012 Cougar.
Oh, and we are outright selling the Zeppelin. It has served us well. We have one more trip planned with her and then the for sale signs go on her.

Well, well...... welcome back! "bgilly"........ I recognized your name from the old and now defunct KRVCG forum. And I see you still have the Zep ---- but not for long it looks like. Congratulations on your new Xlite! Good to have you with us again, Bobby.

As Festus2 says "Welcome Back!", I too am a refugee of that forum.

Yea, I remember the both of y'all!
I still stay in touch with Jamie Mueller and Don Voorhees in email. They both have their original setups but none of us really picked up a camping forum again. I guess we are all just so busy, but as I stated, I had a purpose with my new RV on order and just had to nose around and find out how the Cougar Xlite is doing.

Can't wait! A totally new floorplan and a redesigned exterior (rounded front fiberglass cap with enclosed LP and battery and docking lights).
The Zep did us well and we have some really fun times in it but my son is now 10 and he likes bringing friends. It gets congested with just us 3 and add another body or two - it begins looking like a cattle drive.

So, sometime in August I should be heading out to do the pickup. I purchased out of state so a road trip with a first campout in it.

Well, thanks for the welcomes and I will be dropping back in for sure!
