John, we always stay at Cooper Creek when in Branson. Nice and quiet and the fishin' is usually great. Trout on the grill there is the best.

:wlcm: Bugle Boy I am in West Ky and seem to be in Columbia once a year or so. Nice town the DW and I always enjoy the area. Thanks for your servive then and now! Looking forward to doing some camping in southen MO the next few years. Know of any great spots on the water let me know. Enjoy your new rig!!

DK Henry, there is always lots to do in Branson and as John says Cooper Creek campground is very enjoyable. It is in the woods so to speak. It isn't fancy but it is clean, quiet and sits right on Lake Taneycomo which is full of trout. They have covered boat docks with fishing platforms. Great fun. You have your choice of all kinds of great music shows in Branson.

If you are into outdoor things, the giant Bass Pro Shop of Springfield is 30 miles north of Branson. They have a number of huge acquariums for the kids to enjoy.
