My neighbor bought a new to him Keystone 2017 Passport 2670 RBWE. He sent me a photo of this item he found a pair of in the storage compartment. I have no idea. Any thoughts?

Listening to some very good RV guys on you tube. Most of them don't recommend slide supports. They can do more harm than good. Just an FYI. I would do some research before using them.

Those supports don't go under the slide out. They go across the frame of the trailer to remove movement while parked.
They are great to have.

Those supports are great. I use one with a similar function on my 5th wheel that fits into the 2" receiver hitch on the back. It is the same principal, but the legs are adjustable so you can give it a wide stance for greater stability. We have 8' of trailer after the rear leveling jacks and that is our 12 year old's bedroom, so when she and her friends are moving around we felt it at the front in our bedroom. That stabilizer device nearly eliminated all of the movement.

Thanks for the correction. I have never seen supports like that. I will check into them.

Can you also use small telescoping floor jacks to support the rear frame of the RV?
Some trailer frames can support that kind of load while other types of frames will twist and/or bend if you try to jack up the end of the frame rails.... The BAL NOCO frame won't support anything even close to that kind of "lifting load"... Lippert's "welded frame rail chassis" is sturdier, but depending on the length of the trailer and the distance from the axles to the rear of the trailer frame there may not be enough strength to support that kind of load...

Then, to add "insult to injury" if you attempt to jack the trailer on the rear bumper or the bumper supports, you may end up tearing it away from the frame rails at the bumper extensions....

That's why you don't see "leveling systems" on most light weight trailers... Their frames simply can't support the weight without damage....

Copy that. My intention isn’t to “jack up” the trailer, it’s simply to place them under the rear so that the trailer can’t move down and create a bounce.
Do you think that would work?

Thanks.

A Cougar will have a frame that can handle that within reason. Did yours come with a factory accessory hitch attached to the frame? We use one of these and it has made all the difference in the world.

While those braes work very well, they only stop side to side movement and do almost nothing for fore and aft movement. Wheel chocks ahead and behind the wheels or an x-chock or similar device between the wheels will knock out almost all front to back movement.

That fixture is not intended to address side to side or back and forth movement. In my case, I was looking to stop up and down movement. I use chocks and have a full leveling system and there is no movement under normal circumstances. The issue for me is that there is nearly 10 feet of camper behind the rear leveling jacks and the cantilever effect amplifies any movement in the rear bedroom and it is felt all the way at the front. The receiver hitch device I pictured in my previous post all but eliminates the up and down movement as designed and as I had hoped.
