What are these switches for?

I have these switches. The one on the left is a normal light, which like you’d find in a house; it seems to only turn the ceiling fan off and on. Why? Ceiling fan has a pool chain that works great.

What is fan on/fan off?
What is raise/lower?

Thank you!

There is no pic attached but if yours is like mine the house style switch is for the ceiling fan in the living room. Mine doesn't have a pull chain so I need the switch. The smaller switches control the vent fan that should be in the kitchen area. It raises and lowers the hood on the roof and runs the fan. I have since removed that fan and replaced it with a 3rd AC unit. So my switches are wall ornaments.

The hood opens up so the fan can vent. The hood closes so rain water doesn't flood your kitchen. Still no pic.

The switch on the left is for the ceiling fan, the other 2 are for the Max Air fan in the kitchen area, open-close controls the hood and the fan on-off controls the fan
