Have any of you had good or bad results it's the Splendide 2100XC? We are thinking of adding it to our new Cougar 327RES, which already has the connection in the bedroom. Thanks!

We have the 2100xc which is the vented model. Some say these work better than the ventless model(7100xc) which I don't know. Our installation with the outside vent was about $200.00 which to me was a bargain.
This unit has the brand new "High Country" package on it which might be where the new option has been included for the w/d hookups. I did buy the 2100xc from camping world this week on sale for $987 and they have the special install price of just $39 if I joined good Sam club, so that was an easy decision. Basically going to pick up our new unit from my dealer and drive it about a 1/2 mile to camping world and get the w/d installed. Then we will head out for our first trip with it.
We are looking at getting a Maytag top loading portable model. from Walmart online. It is small enough to fit in the closet that is rigged for the washer and dryer. All the reviews say that it does an awsome job at cleaning and pretty much spin dries the clothes all at a price of under $400.00. I will update when we do get one this spring.
The reviews on the Splendid 7100 are much better then the 2100. But it really boils down to vented versus non-vented. I choose the non vented. It works great for me. Washer is mounted in the garage of my toyhauler which has a power fan, so moisture and humidity are not an issue.
So is everyone in agreement the difference in the 2100 and the 7100 is vented or none vented? If that is the main difference than I would be better off with the 2100 as my toy hauler came with the dryer vent installed already. Might as well save the difference in price.
I agree the power vent in the toy haulers are very powerful and would do a good job with any vapor.
I wonder if the vented dries faster than the condenser? I used a copy of the Splendide at my house for a couple of years. It wasn't practical for large loads/family. I currently have a stacked Kenmore for the trailer. I will probably go with a w/d combo (vented) when it dies.
