Thanks,

First step is to put together a signature via UserCP top/left of each page and save it. Year, make and model. It would also help to take some photos of this discoloration and post them. Use either the quote or advanced post feature. There is a Manage Attachments button where you can scroll and select a photo from your computer. No one knows the original color and you didn't mention if these discolorations have appeared recently and are developing or how long they have been appearing. Did you use any sort of cleaner that could possibly have made the discolorations?

I have the same issue on my passport. It appears when assembling, the crew used permanent marker on either the back of the vinyl flooring, or on the subfloor.

In my camper, it's near the center away from the slide, and in two places. They appear to be markings for lining up a drill hole or something else.

From what I've been told by others, the marker (which shouldn't have been used) is bleeding through the vinyl, there is no solution for it, you're stuck with it.

I’ve seen discoloration from heat as well. Are the spots near the center of the floor? If so, could be from heat caused by the furnace ducting below the flooring. Obviously, this would be much different than marker bleed through. The discoloration would be more blotchy.

I have a 3940LT Arcadia and noticed discoloration on my vinyl floor only by one of the slide outs on the rear room. I am trying to make an appointment to bring in to the dealer to have it inspected. My issue is like mold looking, black in color and not sure why or when it started.

Vinyl flooring has a water resistant top surface, but the underside has a felt-like backing. Anything on the subfloor will translate (absorb) through the flooring and stop at the underside of the top surface and remain there forever like it’s under glass. It CANNOT be wiped/cleaned off.

Where you able to figure out the cause?

No I did not and I just don't even understand how KEYSTONE can suck so BAD !!!!!

OK, so you posted about this issue back in 7-31-2023. Since then, you haven't posted anything further about the floor, your dealer's actions, anything that Keystone may have done/not done. So, out of the blue, criticism for why you don't understand something about Keystone, but you have completely left out the last year of "the history of the problem".... Maybe some updates on what happened, what the outcome of the dealership inspection revealed, what Keystone's response was and where you stand currently....

Looking at both ends of the potentials, Keystone fixed your trailer, but you're pissed because they didn't give you a new one and the other end, Keystone didn't fix your trailer and you're pissed about that.... It would be helpful to know what happened.....

Yeah, I have been busy and dealing with other issues with this trailers such as a recall, slides working interminently, blown fuse on lights, etc. My trailer was in the dealer since October 2024 and I just finally picked it up on February 7, 2025. So many headaches with this POS, I honestly would like for Keystone to at least look into it and fix the issues. They had rejected the work orders under warranty, they want parts, labor etc. to be covered by me. I have work orders since day one I received this POS and they are not honoring them. They are stating that it is past the warranty period. So, both things I am pissed off, and no I did not get it fixed nor got a or want a new one. Needeless to say, this trailer is just below expectations and trailer. On another note, if anybody is dealing with a blown fuse on light, let me know what the issue was. I will post another post with pitcures. Oh by the way the flooring got worst. I assume that I will have to rip it off and replace.

Sounds like you have a reason to be pissed
The question is "who should he be angry at" ???? Is it a dealership that he has antagonized to the point they don't even want to see him or his trailer? Is it because that dealership failed to properly document the issues he had which caused Keystone to disapprove them because of lack of documentation? Is it from conditions that could have been "user damage rather than product failure" ? Did the dealership document any of that one way or the other? Did Keystone ask for that determination and the dealership failed to provide it, or did they ask and the dealership determine that it was "user damage" and this forum is not being told that part of the situation? Is it possible that the OP doesn't even have that information???

Without the entire story typically from BOTH sides, it's impossible to come to a "logical conclusion about what's really transpiring".... We know the "he said" but not the "they said" part, so it's quite possible your comment is either out of line or premature..... Sounds more like kids on a schoolyard at recess... "Hit him again, the teacher ain't looking and you're bigger than him" ....
