Trailersaver hitch TS3

Hensley Trailsaver TS3 hitch. Is anyone using this hitch? I would like to hear from people actually using one. We have a 2023 Fuzion 430, towing it with a 2020 GMC 3500HD SWA, 6.6 Duramax, its a mighty bouncy ride, and we would like to do everything we can to avoid the frame flex issue or at least mitigate the damage. Have you considered a Reese goose box?

Well 20k GVWR, have you considered a DRW, I assume SWA stands for Single Wheel Axle.

We towed a 40 FT HitchHiker Champagne, a bit over 19,000 LB with a 6.7L, F350 DRW crewcab for almost 10 years using a TS3. The last year we had the trailer, I had to replace the air springs and pneumatic line while I was working on the hitch. Loved the Binkley commercial hitch head. The trailer had MPR/Ryde IS suspension and shocks. The rig rode very well and the trailer was well behaved.

If I went back to a 5er, the TS3 is the only hitch I would use. I would also have MOR/Ryde IS on the trailer.

Looking at those also but was very intrigued with the trailersaver.

Personally, I do not see the Goose Box as anything more than a goose neck adapter with an air bag. I would not touch a trailer with a Goose Box.

One of the reason I would not swap out the pin box with the goose neck is it will void the warranty on the frame, and all the video reviews I have watched no one is that impressed with it.

I have a goose box and really like it. It improved the ride greatly. No more chunking!!

I've had a TS3 on the back of my truck (Volvo semi) that has pulled my last two toyhaulers. Currently a Fuzion 315. It's a great! hitch. Semi trucks have very stiff suspension and can break trailer frames. This hitch stops that.



You just can't go wrong with this hitch or the next model up (depending on the weight of the towed trailer). And TrailerSavers support is 2nd to none.

The goose box will not void the frame warranty, I have installed LOTS of goose boxes in my career as an RV tech and haven’t heard a single complaint other than the rare bag leaking. But as with EVERY hitch, a pre trip inspection is in order. Too each their own, that’s what makes this country a decent place to live.

How heavy are your toys? Have you weighed your TV and TV and TH figure out pin weight percentage? Too light of pin will cause chucking/bouncing. A toy hauler should be between 17% and 20% pin weight.
