If you have a "Dollar Tree" (everything costs $1) store near you, go to the back shelf and pick up a spray bottle of Totally Awesome spray cleaner. Costs a dollar and you can get a "double sized refill" for another dollar. It's the "cheapest" and surprisingly the "most effective" spray cleaner I've found. It competes with Fantastic, 409, and most "spray cleaners" and IMHO, beats them all. Just spray it on, let it sit a minute, wipe it off, let it dry and apply DICOR where it's needed.... I've been using it for about 5 or 6 years now and I keep it "on the cleaner shelf in the garage". I almost always go for that bottle for nearly everything, including tires, tractor grease/diesel soot and even the metal roof on the pole barn.

Use this stuff in my business to clean up old grime on plastic and rubber parts from carburetors. It is actually the best there is and was recommended to me by a professional cleaning lady (a neighbor). You can get it in 64 oz refills at Dollar Tree as well.
