Greetings Y'all

Newly purchased 2025 25MLE, with theater seating. There are LED light strips mounted below the foot rest, on the bottom rail just above the floor, and do not appear wired to a switch. I've tried the main room lights, the slide-out area light, and the dinette seating footwell light ... none seem to turn these on.

Short of pulling the theater seats out to investigate, does anyone know where the switch is located or which circuit they should be on? It's not a big deal, but I figure for night lights it'd be good to have them functional and knowing where to start would be helpful.

Thanks!

I have the theater seating with fold down center armrest. Just back from the cupholders are two circular pads with 3 pushbuttons; Heat and Massage, and Lights just above the USB port. When the cupholders are lit up, the lights under the recliner are also supposed to be on.

Thanks for the replies y'all!
Do you have cup holders on the chairs? Often times the switch is part of the rim.

Yes, ours are equipped like in the photo. We've only had the camper a few weeks and are spending time getting the camper ready, having only briefly sat in the recliners... 2nd time was today.

I did try the 3 button (heat/massage) panel... but nothing real apparent happened. Also there is no LED/power light, nor illuminated cup holders. I did look over the seat back to see wiring, connections, and the cord plugged into the 110 outlet. Nothing more than that today ...

BTW, the camper is connect to 50A/220 and has full power. The Theater seating slide-out overhead lights and everything else works. AC, Furnace, Water heater .... but, not having plugged anything into either the USB or outlets, and including that no apparent heating or vibrating happens I'm inclined to think there is a power issue.

I'll get my circuit tester and do some check tomorrow.. and get back on here and let y’all know what I find. Thanks a bunch for help on how it's supposed to work.

I would start with the 110v outlet on the slideout wall and work forwards or backwards from there depending on whether it has power or not. The ceiling lights are all 12v DC and the theater seating plugs into a 110v AC and converts to 12v DC for the seats

Look behind the recliners, should see a 120 volt outlet. There should be 2 things plugged into it. One for the 120 volt outlet in the armrest and One for the power supply for the LEDs.

On ours - the control is built into the chair. Along with the heater

Thanks for the replies all y’all ... Through visual inspection (and observation) our issue has been identified as the power supply being unplugged. Thankfully my wife's longer arms allowed her to reach the cord and plug it in. We are fully operational on the theater seating now.

Under the chair and back of chair are connectors going to lights, vibrate, heat, etc.
One of the connectors may be loose or not connected.
It’s a do it yourself job. You know as much as the dealers shop.
The seats are factory made then the manf just sets them in place.
If you had a former owner they may have disconnected the lights because of the grandkids or didn’t like them.

Hi:

Glad to see that you got the problem fixed!

Just an FYI, the 50A is not usually thought of as 240v in an RV. It's 120v/50A on each leg that feeds your breaker box, one leg to each side of the box, for a total of 12000 watts. 120v x 50A x 2=12000W. A few high end RV's might actually have a true 240v appliance, such as a dryer, but most have 120v appliances.

Good explanation of RV power

Have fun with your new rig!

Thanks again for the replies y’all... yeah, it was one of those "duh" moments (simply looking and find the transformer cord unplugged ...). RV ownership is a new adventure for us. Looking forward to our first OTR trip...

And thanks Stumpy ... appreciate the RV Power link as well. Great video by Mark Polk.

Our 2025 25MLE is equipped with 50A so we'll be able to enjoy full 12KW service. BTW, we're going to install an RV hookup 30A/50A panel (like the one in his vid), here at home consulting/contracting my son (Master, IBEW) to ensure it gets done properly.

We've got a 2024 25MLE and really like it. I've done several projects with mine that I've put in this forum. I added a fireplace, plug-in under the dinette, recirculating pump under the kitchen sink, etc. Happy camping.
