This tear is about 4 inches long! Any suggestions on repair? Tried search for repairing tear in roof membrane and didn't find anything

Looks more like the gearbox has dripped oil on the membrane. The membrane looks intact so I would install the drip pan to stop further damage.

Membrane “fix” is to replace it, Eternabond tape may snag on the horizontal top seal and create a bigger mess

Do you know if there's a video or instructions on installing the drip pan? Guess next question would be does this mean the motor has issues?

There are videos just search “drip pan on BAL slide”. Some show the use of Eternabond tape, I say use at your own risk. You can get the pan on Amazon

Here's the original Keystone Recall for the gearbox oil leak repair instructions

Looking at your photo, is the membrane actually torn? It looks like it's just buckled up due to the membrane being loose or stretched at that spot. What does that spot look like on the outside when the slide is extended? Is it a true tear? If it is a true tear then it will continue ripping when the slide is opened and closed. If it's just a ripple and not a tear, it will probably just keep rubbing and rippling more as it continues to stretch under the pressure of the slide frame.

Also, if it was actually a rip, I would expect to see ragged edges along the tear line and one edge flipped upside down, not rolled like it is.

It it is actually torn, then Eterna bond tape is your best choice unless you replace the entire membrane.
