My stackable set arrived yesterday. Splendide.

Both were damaged. Shipping company was rough.

I must admit. I was shaken by the fact, the dryer top is particleboard. Less than 3/8 inch..

Doesn’t enhance my confidence.

Cheers

Other than the shipping damage, I have installed a LOT of spendide washers and dryers and havent had any customer complaints

I've had mine 5 years and they've not given us an ounce of trouble....well, except when Susan let a dryer sheet fall into the washer and it stopped the pump....which I had to crawl around on the floor and try to remove:facepalm: Didn't know the dryer top was particle board because it's "up there"...but I'm going to go look tomorrow.

My washer gets stuck in the spin and drain cycle and will stay there for hours. Sometimes it wakes up and finishes, and sometimes I just have to hold the power button for 10 seconds and call it good. And sometimes it's fine.

I tried to get warranty support on it, but they wanted me to take it to the nearest service center which was hours away and through some of the worst traffic on the West coast. My only other option was to take it to the Camping World that was only an hour away, but they told me that it would cost me $500 even if it didn't fail for them. I only paid $750 for it. I was not willing to take the chance of having to pay to get my broken washer back.

The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't recommend them.

Over all, in the two large rv parks we live at, the main complaints are very small loads and badly wrinkled out of the dryer. They seem to be suitable for rv’ers who are accustomed to doing laundry most every day. Mostly people are happy within reason.

We had a set installed in our new 5r and we love the stackable set from Splenda. We had a combo unit washer/dryer from Splenda in our MH before and it didn’t work well for us. This new set is perfect for our 5th wheel.
No complaints so far.

We have the stackables, but they are not stacked. They are each on separate shelves that I reinforced for better strength and stability. We've not had any issues AFTER we learned how to use them. They do have some quirks, become unbalanced easily, and occasionally throw an error code. Most of the time, it's because of an unbalance situation. Easy to solve.

We did have the dryer repaired by a mobile tech about a half year ago. I weighed the issue of just getting a new dryer or paying the price for the repair. The repair was the cheaper of the 2 and since we have not had any issues in the past, that was our decision.

It turned out to be "user error" actually. The dryer vent MUST be cleaned out ever now and then. Not just the hose that runs from the dryer to the wall, the workings inside the dryer itself. Ours was clogged with lint, which caused an overheating, which caused our problem. Now, about once a month I use the vacuum sweeper hose and suck as much out as I can from the lint trap area on the dryer, hopefully, will pull some of the lint out farther down where it can't be reached.

Had I known then, I might have spared myself a repair! Well, it did take 5 years before it became clogged up!
