Slide Timing

I've been sitting here absorbing this information. So what I gather from this KSB is there is nothing proactive that can be done and the unit can't be returned to the dealer for warranty repair until it actually breaks. My question is, if we are on the road and this jamming happens is there any way to get the slide in?

Depends on how bad the failure is unfortunately. If you locate the controller, there is an override procedure, if that doesn’t work then you’re stuck. I would look at the VIN table provided, look at your column and verify what you have and the manufacturing date.

If it falls within the parameters of the TSB, you don’t have to wait for it to fail.

Pretty sure the window is not straight.
Over the years, there have been a number of "owner complaints" about the opening for the windows being cut "too large".. What then happens is as the unit is towed down the highway, the stressors cause the window to shift slightly in the opening. Some owners report leaks as the windows settle, some report observing the foam tape tearing as the window moves. I wonder if what you see is a result of "window movement in a hole that was cut too big for the window frame to fit properly ????

Very likely since we never noticed the window being crooked in the opening until now. I wonder if this really cold weather was a factor?
