Greetings all!

We returned from a 2-week trip in the Mountains in nice cool weather and when I put out our rear slide out I found a strip of rubber inside that was very tacky/sticky and torn. Checked outside and found that the far rear side gasket was torn and very tacky. These are the "gaskets" that roll inward or outward when retracting or extending.

It was not obvious how to replace but had limited time and we keep the TT 400 miles north which can make challenges for troubleshooting and repair which means I like to have all the ducks in a row beforehand.

Questions are anyone know where to get replacements and any tricks to removing and replacing?

Thanks in advance!

Craig

Any tips or recommendations on how to replace if anyone has done this before? Chuckster57 has given me the start on the material and greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Craig

Seals are hand in place a few different ways. Some are stapled, some have screws. Some only have double sided tape.

If it’s only tape, I would consider using staples.
