Slide out gas line failure

I have a 2021 Keystone Hideout 25RLWE travel trailer with the refrigerator in the slide out. While gearing up for our first trip this year, I noticed a strong odor of propane outside the trailer. It is coming from the rubber propane line that feeds the refer. I have attached pics with slide in and extended. The rubber is cracked throughout it's visible length(it disappears into the floor of the slide). I cannot believe it is this beat up after only 3 seasons. I have dropped it at a very reputable repair shop and am waiting to hear what it will cost to fix. Anyone else encounter this? Is replacing this line "regular maintenance"?

It’s not a regular maintenance item. I have seen lines that go into slides fail for a variety of reasons so there’s no one cause.

Wow that does not look normal. I’m wondering if when you do repair/replaced that line can you use something more durable? Maybe like a braided gas line? Gas is something I wouldn’t want to play around with.

We had good sams warranty. Would not honor our claim. It cost us 1200.00 to fix ours . Ours is a 2018 Keystone hideout 299rlds. I wish I knew it was going to be that much . I would have fixed it myself.

When I first had my 5th wheel anytime the slide was closed I would not have propane going to the stove or fridge. Looked under the belly and saw the lines were not routed very good and kinked when the slide was closed. Just rerouted the hoses and all has been good the last 5 years.
