Hi,
I want to add a Victron shunt, but I need some help.
Anything electrical is not in my wheel house, so I could use some guidance.
Attached are photos of my battery set up and shunt.
thanks in advance, much appreciated.

Simply take the proper gauge wire, remove the negative lead to the battery.

Attach the trailer lead to the “system” post of the shunt. Then make a new cable from the “battery” post of the shunt to the negative post you took the trailer wire off of.

That is the simplest explanation. This is a pic from mine (although somewhat different since I have a 5th wheel). One wire from battery negative to shunt, all other negative cables to the other side of the shunt.

So, that's the negative lead from the first battery, correct?
thanks

if that’s the negative wire that goes to the trailer and not the other battery.
