You might want to wait on Sailun to give you a firm answer on whether they will honor the recall after the expiration date. I'd guess they won't. Why? People would tend to just keep using their tires for the 2 or 3 years, then ask for "new tires once they wear them out or age them out"... It's an "old game that some people play and it causes those of us who choose to be honest with things a penalty. The manufacturers/distributors just draw a "hard line" against helping anyone because of the actions of a few....
As for the range backlight recall, Keystone does have a "unique arrangement with Montana support"... Pre-COVID, the factory had a factory rally every year (didn't during COVID. I'm not sure, but I believe they have restarted either last year or this year. At the Montana Owner's Rally" they do have factory service and factory support for a number of things that owners of other Keystone brands can't get...
Give Customer Support a call and simply ask them if they can do the recall "at the factory" and if they have the dates for the Montana rally and whether tech support for that recall will be available...
