Actually I did check the reviews on the tire, and came to the same conclusion. I appreciate the reference info.

So what about the Hankook Vantra? Don't see them mentioned and they appear to have a decent reputation. Far cheaper than Goodyear and Sailun, hair more than the Carlisle. Carlisle from what I see seem to have dropped in reputation a bit. Thoughts on the Hankook?

Well…( agreed) I don’t know when that was aired, so it was the only reference. I Carlisle had better not be going lower on the list, I finally found (31/24) and bought them. So we shall see. I will report as we head out to Mt Rushmore in July. Then wander around the country a week or so.
