178LHS with a NS Queen bed. Foot section of the bed is a hinged piece of OSB for under bed storage access. OSB is sagging in the middle and needs replacing. Anyone had this problem?, if so what did you do to fix improve it. I was going to use plywood for a little more strength and put a 2x2 strip across underneath.

Mine has a 2x3 crossways, to which the gas struts are anchored. Maybe Amos left yours off?
DW and I are heavyweights, so if ours was going to sag, it sure would have.
(Ignore the custom PVC prop, our replacement mattress overwhelms the gas struts.)

I was going to go across the width of the bed as the length is supported the sides, the board overhangs on the sides slightly. The front half of the bed is over the pass through compartment and I'm going to try and make some bracing there, poorly designed with little support.

I had the front bedroom all apart to repair the floor. When I put the bed back together I noticed the osb sagged below the top of the pass through. I screwed a 2 x 3 against the pass through wall to support the osb, and also screwed a 2 x 3 front to back under the osb. Flat and solid now.
