I have a 2023 TT KEYSTONE SPRINGDALE 293RK, and my mower threw a rock and shattered one side of the teardrop (tempered) sliding glass. It appears I will need to replace the entire window, but correct me if I am wrong.

In trying to keep the cost down, I believe I can do this myself. DYI videos seem pretty straight forward. The problem is I can't find a supplier that has the size I need. :banghead:

Outside measurements of the full window are as follows:

36 3/8 inches height
73 1/4 inches

Any suggestions?

Rv windows will have a P/N and size on the frame. You have to remove the inner retaining ring to access it. Should be a paper tag.

You will probably find that the entire window assembly is going to cost more than $500 (price plus tax) and shipping will likely be close to that same amount, so you're looking at a potential "new replacement window expense" of close to $1000.

If it is one of the lower panes, most glass/window replacement companies around you should be able to order the tempered glass panel for you to "glue into the existing window frame. Check around to see what's available around your area. Places like Safelite likely won't help you, but most "mom and pop glass stores" are much more friendly....

Here's a couple of links for you to check out. The first is a listing of all the "window parts" for your trailer: https://www.trekwood.com/parts-sear...le&year=2023&category=Window&search-keywords=

The second is what I believe is the window in question: https://www.trekwood.com/products/1...-x-9-SP-BT-Clear-Temp-Black-Frame-8800-Series

With a little research you might get lucky, as I did, and find a new replacement window from an RV surplus outfit. Lippert wanted $1600.00 to replace the one I broke. I found the exact one I needed, still wrapped from the factory, on eBay for $200.00. It was a perfect direct replacement.

If you can get to the Part Number and also the RO dimensions you can do some searching. You might get lucky...

Thank you all. Short of finding the label, do you measure the inside frame of the window or outside frame? What is more accurate?

Vandals broke 2 of my windows. Found a local glass company. They came out and measured. About a week later they returned and replaced glass. It was under $300.

Call around and find a glass place that does RV's. You'll save a bunch of money.

My .02 ... don't go by measurements (window OR the frame) use that part number on the frame. I had a framed window break in transit somehow. First time I measured the glass, but it didnt fit... there were too many that were close so I ended up taking the window out and looking for the magic number. I had good luck with RecPro ..

True, part number is a good identifier. However, in the window business...which also applies to RV windows...the callout is the RO dimension. The window I replaced has an RO of 18 x 48. That's the dimension that online sellers will use, perhaps in addition to the part number, but without it you're left with dimensions. Especially if you're trying to find a solution that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. When searching online use all the identifiers you've got.

Replacement window for my Raptor was a little over $200. Never replaced one but did the YouTube thing and it was a piece of cake. As someone said, the PN is on the window frame. I took mine out and covered outside with plastic sheeting and gorilla tape until the new window came in. The install took less than an hour. I got my RV dealer (Blue Compass) to order from Lippert.

Update: after taking the window completely out of the RV, I found a local glass company that does RV windows, and was able to get the glass pane replaced under $300.
Next question is what is the best caulking to use when re-installing the window?
Looks like what I scraped off was not foam or Butyl tape. Looks like that white caulking used on the roof. Any ideas or amazon links would be appreciated.

Do not use lap sealant, it will sag. Use a foam seal like “frost king” available at any big box hardware store. 3/4” wide 7/16” thick. Apply it to the inside edge of the window flange and make sure the gap is at the bottom in the middle. Once the window is in you can use an Rv rated sealant across the top and down past the radius.

Thanks for the advice, chuckster57.
