OEM Tire Replacement

What are you replacing in the moryde? I was considering new wet bolts as the originals sometimes dont take grease.

I have Road Armor suspension parts on mine but I couldn't find a kit with the bushings that MoRyde has. I pulled some wetbolts that wouldn't take grease and found quite a bit of wear so I decided to replace the shackle hangars, bushings and wetbolts along with the tires.

I put 225 75 17.5 Hercules on our previous Landmark. Loved ‘em. Had to buy a new air compressor to get them up to 125PSI.

I haven't looked at the ratings on these tires yet but I have no intention of running 125 PSI in my tires. I really want to lower it to around 100 PSI. At 110 PSI when the tires warm up the pressure goes to 125 PSI.

I'm with Marshall on the 5-tire replacement. Working in a tire shop in the 70's, we even recommended a 5-tire rotation. This was before the donut spares and fancy wheels, except for the spare, made the practice obsolete.

Cold tire pressure on the sidewall is typically at full load. I'd suggest using a tire gauge (with measurements in 32nds of an inch), and check across the tire width to see if wear is even. Low on the sides you are underinflating, low in the center you are overinflating. Might take several thousand miles to see a difference, if any.

Yea, I'll likely order the fifth tire and replace it. These new tires are rated for 110 PSI just like the originals. I just got my MoRyde parts today so I will be tearing into this thing next week.

I can't tell you what brand came on my trailer other than they were not the set of Endurance I had installed on the way home from the dealership.

Are the two tires in the picture the same size, type and Load Range? I would be surprised as they seem to be outside industry guidelines for dimensional variation.
