Non working outlets

2018 Sprinter 326FWBHS both kitchen outlets are not working GFCI was not tripped but did to a test/reset cycle on it. Tester shows power to both outlets but when plugging anything into them they don't power on. Could not find any other GFCI outlets with the test/reset buttons except in the bunkhouse are there any others that may have been overlooked? Is there an outlet I can grab at lowes or HD to replace these 2 if they both miraculously died at the same time?

Is this a new issue or has it always been this way? What did you use for a tester (a meter or a plug in circuit tester)? The GFCI is working if you can test/reset with the buttons.

At any rate, you can use a shallow GFCI from any hardware store

We've owned the camper from new, my hsuband stays in it for work. This is a new issue my husband has been in the camper for work for the last year solid now, no problems until 3 days ago when the coffee maker didn't start brewing one morning. They worked before he went to bed woke up no coffee. He used a meter.

The outlets are cheap “self-boxing” units where the wires are not cut and screwed in, but are pressed into tabs inside and the back cover snapped in place. Over time and use, the wires loosen and the connections fail. They can test okay with a meter but as soon as something is plugged in and the connections inside move a little, they don’t work. First, I would try a plug in circuit tester (it looks like a large plug with three lights that indicate the correct wiring). Next, I would shut the power off and pull the two outlets and check the wiring connections or better yet, just replace them with a shallow “old work” box and a new regular duplex outlet.
