Hello - Been here a bit and just now checking in. Had a 92 model Terry travel trailer that we bought new and kept until the roof gave way many years ago So just now getting back into camping and WOW, things have changed a bunch!!

Anyways, we've ordered a Cougar 320RDS Midnight Edition in Black Onyx from Bish's. Looking like mid March at the earliest for it to arrive and that seems like forever from now..

Looking forward to continued learning from the group and hope to see y'all out on the road or campgrounds!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on getting your new Cougar. Funny you mentioned a "Terry" travel trailer. Several years ago, my in-laws purchased a small Terry travel trailer that was in really bad shape for $500! I think it was something, like a 1970 ish model. The walls were rotten, the floor was rotten, it had copper pip plumbing that was blow, no air conditioner, refrigerator did not work, it was a mess.

We (my father-in-law) and I remodeled that camper, rebuilt the thing from the inside out (literally! We left the outside skin and replaced almost everything inside. It was a work of love and blood! Lots of skinned knuckles! Anyway, when we got it done, it was a pretty decent camper. They used for several years until my father-in-law had a stroke and then their camping days were over.

Meanwhile, back to you! Again, congrats! Welcome! and I hope you have GREAT success traveling and enjoying your new Cougar!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new trailer! Waiting will keep you on pins and needles I'm sure.

My first "large" trailer was a 1985 Terry Taurus. The amenities in it were sparse. A furnace and A/C was about it....but I loved that thing. Cheap looking interior compared to todays rigs but it held up just fine. Started my "RV education" on larger units when the furnace blower went south on the first trip out.

Keep us posted on your progress receiving the trailer. Any thoughts or questions are welcome so fire away when you need/want to.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

Hopefully your order works out better than ours did last year. We ordered our Cougar 29BHL about this time, with an estimated delivery date of the end of March. Then that got pushed out to the end of April, then the end of May. At that point, we cancelled our order with the dealer, and searched far and wide for the same unit in dealer inventory or in transit. We got lucky and picked up our new Cougar from dealer stock (build date was early March) with enough time to get it set-up, stocked and outfitted for the camping season. The original dealer still kept the order for themselves (it FINALLY arrived in early July), but we are so happy we didn't wait, otherwise we would have lost half our season.
