New Member from Georgia

Congrats on the new Raptor!! We had the 371 Fuzion 10 yrs ago that was built like a tank. Had the Cummins/Onan 5500 gas generator up front to use for hurricane evacuations since we live in SE Louisiana. Enjoy the new camper.

The OP has determined that members of the forum are "judgmental".....

It was a question and not an accusation so please don't re-frame my content.

I apologize for being somewhat overreactive to the post about my weights. I'm learning... a lot. Yes I did pick up the new Raptor last week and had a joyous 400 mile ride home in pouring rain. And yes, it was heavy as **** and I felt every mile of it. The Duramax 6.6L was a beast and had no problem hauling the 14k pound dry 5th wheel but I felt every pound of it in the operator's seat and it was an uncomfortable feeling even with the air bags to level things out.

Personally to rhagfo, your points are all valid and time will tell if this is something to adjust to or if we'll end up turning to plan "B" (which is not yet written). Thanks for the education and I apologize for the misunderstanding.

That is great news. Your safety and that of your loved ones was behind all of the posts concerning weight. Many new members don't want to hear the facts and disappear. Your travels will be much more enjoyable with the upgrade. Let us know how it works out.
