I need to a medicine cabinet similar to that that was replaced by just a mirror in my 2025 Keystone Springdale 1750RD. Any ideas? Home Depot and Lowes have plastic ones ($21-$29) but the white painted glass frame looks cheasey

I take it you have not yet been infected by the woodworking bug. If not, my suggestion is to find a friend who is and have them make you one to your specs.

I will jump on any excuse to make something out of wood so I rebuilt the cabinet that was in our 2020 Cougar. The mirror door was positioned too high for my wife and I wanted to put vanity lights along the top. So I used the existing door and built a new taller cabinet that I hung lower above the sink.

In the realm of cabinets, these kinds are very easy to make because they are minimalist for weight reasons. You may even be able to use the existing mirror for the door if you like how it looks.

Boy how do I wish I could work with wood. I don't know what it is, but I never can get it right. I can fix anything mechanically, but wood, it just doesn't like me. Anything I put together looks like it came out of a Dr. Suess book.

You might want to look at Amazon. Depending on how much "wall space" you want to use, or how much wall space you actually have, there's several "might work for you" choices. Here's a few:

Keep in mind that most RV bathroom cabinets have unbreakable mirrors made of lexan or something similar. Most "home style cabinets" will have glass mirrors. There's a distinct hazard in having a glass mirrored cabinet door "swinging wildly as you tow at 65MPH"... So, take into account that if you install a glass mirror, you may end up with "tiny glass shards embedded in all the towels" when you pull into that "remote dry camping site, where there's no place to vacuum the trailer floor to remove all the sharp fragments" .....

Have you tried looking on the Trekwood site? Search on the word medicine and it will return probably 100 results of various types, shapes and sizes.

I went to an RV show and saw exactly what I wanted in a Forrest River RV. Took photos and measurements and, guess what, the good people at Forest River custom built it and shipped it to me. Couldn’t believe how remarkably different Forest River is from Keystone about so called proprietary secrets. Forrest River actually wants to earn and keep their customers’ business. Just a thought.

Here is what I bought and mounted. Now have to get something to make sure the door stays closed during transport.

If you have a RV surplus location nearby, I have found they have many such things available. I have replaced many items with upgraded items at a fraction of the cost. Last week I went beyond local surplus and received a like new, used wood refrigerator panel set from a Canadian company that specializes in RV parts, new, used, and salvage. The company's name is Young Farts RV Parts and they ship to the US. My nearby surplus company Bontrager's Surplus in Michigan.

I believe they also have another place you can go to and shop called **** Show RV, LOL. I don’t know where they come up with the names but it makes you remember them.

Just got back from a 500 mile trip and the installed medicie cabinet worked fine even with all the stuff the misses put in it!
