Hello everyone! I need some help in identifying a box installed in my 2019 Keystone Springdale SG253REFFW Fifth Wheel.

It is a Furrion box about 8" x 4" and it is mounted high on the wall above the thermostat next to our bathroom entryway.

It has a standard USB port on one end, and says "Furrion" on the other.

I have been RV-ing for 20 years in travel trailers, motor homes and fifth wheels but I have no idea what this box is for.

Who knows, I may have a capability from the factory I don't even know about! I would appreciate any ideas you may have.

Is this directly mounted on the ceiling or close to it? Is there a tv antenna on the roof directly above it? It looks like the junction box for a variety of different antennas from Furrion. Models like those in the pics below.

Is it possibly a Furrion wifi booster? They were installing those kinds of gizmos about that time. My MHC has something similar on the ceiling - which I've never used.

There is a similar TV antenna on the roof, but it's probably 3-4 feet away and in the center of the roof. This box is in the interior hallway maybe three feet our from the side wall near the entrance to the bathroom.

I have not removed it from the wall to see what wires attach Why would there be a USB port on the side of it if it's a TV cable junction box?

My living room TV is all the way at the back (the other end) of the trailer.

Thank you for the response, Sourdough. That's what I thought, maybe it's a wi-fi booster or something. I may have to look on the Furion website to see if they have a similar product somethere listed to find out what it is.

Yes, the box slides to the right to open the fixture. Must be a TV antenna junction of some sort. Essarebee I think you found it. Thank you for your research! But how about the USB conection? Why would someone plug in a USB cable? It's 20 feet away from the LR TV. Makes no sense to me

Its a mount for a Furrion router.

I believe that when the router part slides over that base, the male USB connection on the router mates with the female USB connection on the wall plate, and that is how it can connect and disconnect simply by sliding the two parts together.
