Have a side kitchen camper with a huge double sink and no counter space.

While the counter was off had the chance to replace drawer slide brackets for the last time with metal ones (amazon). The plastic ones had been repaired several times by myself and the previous owner (upper right corner).

This rig came with a flip up counter that was beat up and no longer level. Also had a slide in extension that went over the drawers and had a leg. Kind of useless because you either had to deal with it in the way of things not use it all. I had just enough room for a slide out counter. U channel the size I wanted wasn't easy to find, ended up using 4 pieces of 1" angle, screwed in front, back, and center. I put a slight down angle at the back so when it is out it is level. The board is 3/4" oak (store was out of maple) laminated to match the new counter.

To save money I just capped off the extra sink drain with a plug. By turning the drain p trap to the back I was able to use all the same fittings. The faucet lines were very long, cut off the camper side to about 6" from the floor.

Took much longer from start to finish because we had a very long cold spring here in MI. Had stove out so running the furnace was not an option. Also had to remove the bottom row of backsplash and cut new ones because the new counter was .70" plywood and the old was 5/8.

We have a seasonal lot, this our 2nd yr there. They open this weekend. Had to pull the camper home this winter because the lakeside lots were getting new electrical put in. Chippy proofed it the last couple of days. Ready to go. Hope I loaded the photos right.

Well good looking work! Your trailer looks to be about 30'+ long, that is a very small kitchen for a rig that size.
DW loves to cook and likes some room, hence this kitchen.

I had that kitchen in my last camper except my sink was under the side window. Was a 2006 31'
Springdale, rear peninsula kitchen, 2 chairs, J sofa and dinette booth. Nice trailer but the bed area was too tight with a full queen and only one small clothes closet unless you crawled over the bed. You had to crawl over the foot of the bed to get in it. The huge corner shower/bathtub also took up a good chunk of space.

The 30.5' Cruiser has a bed slide, 8' closet and 4 drawer dresser. Feels like a real bedroom rather than a bed in your bathroom. It's a trade off but one I'm glad I made. We have much more storage now and being seasonal we use it. We're on a lake lot and like the rear picture window we have now. Think I still have pictures I took when I sold the other one.
