About a year ago I bought a 2008 keystone retreat hornet with a sticker on it saying it is equipped with a keystone space maker underfloor fresh water system. I can’t find much about it online so I’m hoping someone can give me some info on how this works.it says it’s maximum capacity, no wasted storage space and heated compartment keeps it from freezing. I have never used the water system during the winter but would like to try to fill my water tank if it is actually heated but I’m not sure if the camper heat also needs to be running as well. If someone has any info on the system I would really appreciate it.

The older RV models used to have a water tank installed on top of the floor, usually under a bed or bench. It was considered "innovative" when they decided to enclose the underbelly and move the tanks below the floor.

The "heated and enclosed" underbelly requires that the furnace be operational and running to duct the heated air into the belly area. It is unlikely to keep the tank from freezing if you are in an area with temperatures that don't get above freezing for extended periods of time. Also, the furnace will use A LOT of propane. It is unlikely that you have tank heaters, so at best you have a 3-season camper.
