Jensen JWM92A Bluetooth Connection

Hello,
I have a new 2023 Fuzion. I am trying to connect
it to Bluetooth on my android phone. It is saying unavailable Bluetooth in the settings it says Bluetooth on.I called the manufacturer they had me do a reset but still doesn't work. They reccomend me to send it back and get a replacement. Before I do that has anyone else had the same problem?If so what is the fix? Thanks for any information.

My does the exact same thing, only with Iphones. I still don't have a solution. I've even brought in the experts, my 15 yo nephew twins. Mine is just not viewable on BT. We had the idea of cabling to it but I haven't done that yet. I'm sure that would work. I'll be interested to see what comes of this and who you spoke to about getting it replaced.

I will try and keep this updated. I'm sure cabling will work. I have not tried that yet. I don't want to send it back if it does not work. I called asa electronics at 1-800-688-3135 Hopefully you will have better luck with them than I did.

On mine, you had to press and hold the Bluetooth button on the stereo to put it into pairing mode. The display would show "Pairing", then go to your phone and search for Bluetooth devices and connect to the one that says JWM92A. My wife and I both use iPhones, it has been problem free.

If that isn't working, and ASA (Jensen) is telling you to send it back, then that sounds reasonable since it is their product and they should know. I sent mine back due to a different issue and they sent me a brand new one that worked the way it was supposed to.

1-800-688-3135 It did come out very easy. Four screws and three connectors. Won't be cheap to box and ship back. They need to email you the address and RMA number. They told me 3-4 days turn around after they receive it. Good luck

Exact same issue with mine.. mine is 2021 fuzion. None of my phones recognize it.. The problem is I waited too long to find out so now I'm past warranty.

Ditto for my Jensen.
Sometimes it connects to BT, sometimes not.
Has anyone just replaced it with a proper stereo, and if so what kind that would be a fit for the cabinet?

My prior unit was a Double DIN, which is simple that the face is double the height of a standard stereo. The complicating factor is that these RV units typically include a DVD function, which is not as common in the standard market. If you don't care about having a DVD (I certainly don't), then there are lots of options out there at Best Buy, Crutchfield, etc.

My current unit is an iRV62 RV Stereo System CD/DVD/MP3 Player with Bluetooth

Yes I have a 2023 fuzion 428 and I have been trying for a year to connect and talked to Jensen multiple times, I finally gave up and use the remote!

I called Jensen they sent one to a dealer and I did an exchange. New one works fine.

Replaced with new unit. Bluetooth paired first try. Of note: the USB only works with thumb drive devices, it will charge your phone but not play any music, apps etc. New one will not load DVD's but not worth the hassle to try on a 3rd unit. The Jensen app for Apple is junk..dont bother trying to resolve anything with the app.
