Hi All,
I'm going to install Max Air Vents on my Lerado 314RE this weekend. I have researched and watched the installation video's, and from what I can see, the vents attach via a bracket directly to the framing of the factory crank up vents.
Nothing I have seen so far speaks to sealing around the vent with any type of self leveling sealant. To me, it appears that while traveling down the road, wind would get under the vent an maybe rip it off or something.
Looking for advice from somebody more experienced with these.
