Hello I just bought a 2024 25mlewe and when I picked it up the dealer said that the hvac furnace was not working. They ordered a new control board and when it was installed the furnace will not come on. I have noticed that there is not an ambient zone temp on the furnace screen. How do I get a room zone temperature setting? I’ve tried rebooting. It’s at the dealer now and I have noticed that there been able to use it since I bought it. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks. RJ

Do you know what kind of furnace it is and what thermostat you are using? There are several reasons that a furnace would not start. I would think that a competent dealer would be able to properly troubleshoot the thing.

If it were me I would wire the furnace directly to 12v to see if it spins up. If it does then you know that the issue is in the thermostat, relay switch in the AC unit, or the wiring. Just throwing a new control board at it without some basic troubleshooting steps would make me a little nervous about the ability of the techs working on it.

Sounds like the dealer is not very familiar with the In Command. If you are not showing temps then the CAN bus may not be communicating with the AC controller and furnace. In Command may need a firmware upgrade. On mine, the comm module for the furnace is in the rear AC unit. Each AC unit has a comm module and a controller if the AC units are run by In Command. On some RVs the furnace is on it's own thermostat and the AC units are on In Command. How is yours set up?
