How do i ask a question on here

Providing help will require that you ask a specific question with as much explanation and detail as possible. We are more than happy to assist if possible, but we first need to know what the issue is. A good first step is that you shared the model, but sharing the year will also help. You can simply post in this thread and I am sure we can figure something out.

I have a passport 3351bh how do I open the 2 slides. Do I need to hook up to 50amp service first.

First and foremost, you need to have a fully charged battery or batteries installed, connected and the battery disconnect disengaged (if your year has one, my 2019 didn't).

I would not try to operate any high load electrical item like slides, tongue jacks, or leveling system (if yours has one) without batteries. Putting that much load on the converter alone while plugged into shore power (the heavy electrical cable to a fixed power system at a home or campground) will lead to early failure of the converter. A converter converts 120v AC power to 12v DC power primarily to charge the batteries, but also to provide a secondary power for most of the items in the camper like slides, tongue jack, lights, etc.

Ok, so I charge the battery first. Got it. Where are the buttons to open the slides. I can stand in front door and look at kitchen but couch prevents me from going in further. Are buttons in a cabinet or visible.

Without knowing the year, I can only say for certain that it is mounted to a cabinet end either immediately to your left or on a cabinet face immediately to the right as you enter the front door. It is a black panel with several smaller lighted red switches and a couple larger black rocker switches. It will look something like this one (from a 2020 model). or like this one form an older model.
