We have a 2017 38 foot Hideout. We purchaced it last November. It has been in a campground since new. We live 2 hours away and plan to use it hopefully 3 to 4 days a week. It has city water and sewer hookup. Should I drain the holding tanks every time we leave for the week or drain them when full? Thanks

Lots of things can grow in the tanks. Mainly the gray tank. Food scraps and warm water equal mold and bacteria. The black tank is pretty self explanatory.

I would definitely fill and flush when you leave. Something might come up and you might not get back to it for a few weeks. It doesn't take long to really start smelling.
