What exactly is a galley tank and where is it located I have looked underneath and only see my fresh water tank, black and grey tanks no galley tank but my indicator light inside says the galley tank is full

If you have a galley tank, you should have three dump valves outside under the edge of the trailer (left edge). Toward the rear should be two which are close to each other (the main Black and Gray valves) and then one which is further forward from these. Perhaps 1/2 the way toward the front of the trailer?

The "galley" tank is for the kitchen. You may or may not have one. You comment that you see your fresh water tank, black and grey tanks. Is that plural grey tanks or just commenting on the one black and one grey tank? I'm assuming the latter. If the bottom is not enclosed and all you have is a black, grey and fresh water tank, then it would seem obvious that the galley tank was not on your model of trailer.

In another thread you had mentioned this was a "new to you" trailer that had not been taken care of and you are trying to repair. It would be helpful to know the year and model so that information provided could be more specific.

Yes this is a new to me 5th wheel it’s a 2001 keystone cougar 276!and only reason I asked about the galley tank is cause my control/ display panel shows galley but the only tanks I see is the black grey and fresh

The control panel is "generic"; it doesn't necessarily mean that what it shows is what you have - you will have to do some "hands on" and "eyes on" to verify what you have.

Well, if it is there and full soon the sink will not drain. You might try and look up the factory listing on your trailer by the model number and see what they say about the holding tanks. Your trailer should be named a 276 xxxx. What are the letters after the number?

Well this has been bothering me so this morning at 3 am my handy flashlight and I went outside and dealt with some snow wind and cold and I found the hidden dump valve in front of the front axle tucked up in with a broken handle, the sensors must be messed up because it was open and when I pushed the button this morning it said empty So I dumped 2 gallons of hot water down and it all dumped back out, thanks for all the help

If the tank is empty but reading full try this:

Using Dawn ultra blue, fill the sink with HOT water. Squeeze a LOT of dish soap into the water and drain. Continue filling with HOT water until your sure the tank is full. Let set for a while and then drain, leaving the valve open for a few minutes. You may have to do this again when the weather warms up.
