I have a new Fuzion that has an outdoor 2 burner cooktop and while it pulls out I cannot figure out how to drop it to lower level for use. It has a hinge setup in the rear so it is meant to drop down to a useable height.

Also while the gas line is hooked up to the slide and the range inside works the line from the outdoor cooktop is just laying under it not connected. I will have to get it connected. Is this normal?

The outdoor gas cooktop cannot be hard connected to the gas piping. On ours, you slide the stovetop "drawer" out, and then reach underneath the camper to plug the quick connect hose into the port just under the edge. Ours does not have any feature or function to drop the cooktop platform to a lower level.

I also plug in a quick connect splitter to the factory port under the edge and use one port for the cooktop and then feed my Blackstone and/or NexGrill from the other port with a 12' extension hose.

Well based on that I will probably remove it and replace with a commericial grade induction cooktop I ended up uning on my boat. It cooks better than gas and will take up less room. We are upgrading as we go. Well, I am. The wife added curtains. Come to think of it I had to install those. Think I'm getting hosed.:)
