We have a 2024 Keystone Avalanche 390DS and just noticed two flooring issues we could use some guidance on.
1. Our slides have a thin, cloth-like floor (no idea what material it is), and on the main slide where the couch is located, the flooring has started to crack where it overlaps the edge of the slide.
Is anyone familiar with the type of flooring this is, and if there is a decent way to patch it? We're still under warranty for another month, but we're currently on the road as full-timers, so we can't deal with any lengthy dealership visits. I've attached a few pictures to show the flooring itself as well as one of the cracks.
2. On our kitchen slide, we noticed a black, sticky tar-like substance on the floor after setting up. When I pulled the edge of the flooring up, it looks like the factory applied too much sealant (or whatever it is) and it's now making a huge mess when the slide-out is operated.
Does anyone have any recommendations for cleaning this up without damaging the floors? I was thinking mineral spirits may help but don't want to damage the flooring since I'm not sure what material it is. I attached a picture of that, also.
Thanks!
