Extra Tall Tripod....

If your Alpine has 6 point leveling, you probably don’t need the kingpin stabilizer.

It has pretty much been proven, by former tests and by practical usage, that king pin tripods don't add any benefit for the stability of the fifth wheel.

Although they are still sold, and even sold in RV parts department shops, it's an item that is not needed.

If a time ever comes you need to keep the front raised so you can lift the front jacks off the ground (perhaps to replace a jack), such a tripod is NOT the device you use to hold the trailer up while you do the jack replacement. Those jacks will probably not support the 3 to 5 thousand pounds of weight. If you ever need to keep the trailer jacked up so you can work or replace the landing jacks, then put blocks under the frame and rest the camper on the blocks. Then you can safely work on replacing or fixing the landing jacks.
