I use the equal-i-zer 4 point hitch and have been very happy with it. It performs excellent reducing sway and distributing weight when setup properly. I purchased the hitch when I bought my RV from the dealer. I had done my research and requested this hitch. I trusted the dealer to set it up properly, which they did not, so I was not happy initially. The rear of the truck sagged too much and the truck and trailer were not close to being level. No problem. I took the truck and trailer to a level parking lot and followed the setup instructions included with the hitch. I was able to get it setup correctly with a tape measure and about an hours effort.
The installation and removal of the steal bars for sway control/weight distribution do put stress on your electric tongue jack. This is because you use the tongue jack to lift the tongue of the trailer and rear of the truck to remove and install the bars. My first and original jack that came with the trailer failed/locked up. It was not a great jack and was already having some intermittent start/stop issues. I replaced it with a Husky Brute 4500 lb electric jack and have not had any trouble since.
The only negative regarding this setup is the loud squealing sound when turning. This is because the steal bars prevent sway by friction between them and the brackets mounted on the trailer. I have not noticed any wear on the bars or the brackets. I also am not going to grease the location where the bars come in contact with the brackets because it is this friction that prevents sway and it does a very good job. My trailer tracks behind my truck with little to no sway at all.
Hope this helps,
Curtis
Edit: As others have mentioned you can purchase pads for the brackets to reduce/eliminate the squealing. I would also like to mention that the noise is typically limited to low speed maneuvers.
