It looks like I have remote to turn on dome lights on my 2010 Montana hickory edition. But, I did not get the remote controller when I bought the camper used. Any idea where I can buy one.

A trailer that's 15 big ones old? I don't know but I'm gonna take a stab at it and say no where. :nonono:
If it's important that you have the light and have a remote to work it, personally I'd look for something new.

However, you might get lucky and find one out there.
Enjoy your trailer.

I am not certain that the remote provides operation to the ceiling lights. According to the brochure, it controls quite a few things, but interior lights isn't one of them. Either way, it says that everything the remote control can do has a back-up manual switch.

Trekwood has the whole assembly on their site, but it is $1,000. However, the exact remote looks like it was used across multiple models and years of Keystone products, so you should be able to find one out there somewhere.

Here is a picture of what you are looking for, and also a close-up of the remote control face. You will notice that ceiling lights are not an option.

Not to hijack this....but is this common. This sounds like a perfect solution to a problem that I have in my trailer. Basically you have to turn on the bedroom light to allow the fan to work in the bathroom. So we leave the switch on and turn off the overhead with the button and operate the fan and turn on the bedroom light with the button.

Is there 12v remote/switch that I could embed in the ceiling and use the remote from some other location?

Sounds like the wiring to the back of the switch is wrong (or light maybe if I am understanding your problem). The power to the fan is coming off the same feed for the light, but they connected the fan power wire to the load side of the fixture/switch instead of to the line side. It's an easy fix.

When our Passport was new, we had a similar issue with our exterior lights (that is what originally led me to this forum), and I found that the wires were wrong on the switch, a swap of the spade connectors on the back of the switch and it was fixed.

There are several sources to buy a remote for your trailer. One is available (new) on EBay for $224.95 with free shipping. It includes both the hand held transmitter and the "installed receiver".

https://www.ebay.com/itm/3632214101...MI-tb4kcH6igMVohetBh3kiin5EAQYBiABEgJJh_D_BwE

Your original system was sold by Lippert. Usually, they import this type product, and when it becomes obsolete, they only provide support for a few years, then drop the system. There are several "RV Salvage" companies around Elkhart, Indiana that buy "manufacturer over-runs and excess supplies". I'd guess that's where the above EBay product came from.

Here's the link to the Lippert site where you can start searching for information on your system. Note that when an item is listed as "OBSOLETE" the link to where that info used to be is disabled, so you'll likely hit some "dead ends" on the Lippert site. https://support.lci1.com/electronics-support-wireless-transmitters-and-receivers

Here is a link to the Lippert "remote systems listing" with photos of the components: https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws.com/complists/electronics/ccd-0003488.pdf

I'll close this with a comment. Things on EBay are often a "one of a kind" listing that expires on a specific date and once sold, is no longer available, so many/most EBay items are temporary and in a couple of days/weeks, the above EBay link will probably become a "dead link that no longer goes to the item".

Thanks will take a look at it in the spring. It hasn't been that much of an inconvenience as some of the other items/enhancements made.

I have a drawer in my garage with about 20 remotes. None of which I have a clue what they go to but you are welcome to have them all ;)
