I have a 2020 Cougar 366RDS and the refrigerator has quit working. I am trying to get it out of the cabinet it's in and have disconnected everything and removed every screw i can find. I can tilt it forward but the bottom is not moving. Does the lower trim piece have to be removed or it something else holding it.

Has anyone replaced their Dometic RM1350SL with a residential unit and which model did you get?

There will be 2 screws at the bottom, you may have to remove the lower trim to get to them.

What’s wrong with the fridge? As long as there isn’t any yellow powder residue on the backside, you may be able to repair it.

There should be 6 screws (unless I'm forgetting about a couple)...

In the rear, there are two in the lower baseplate (sort of under the cooling tubes) .

Then, in front, open the door and find the two screws that hold the upper faceplate in place. there are two screws under that faceplate.

Then remove the lower faceplate. There are two screws, one through eack door hinge on opposite sides of the bottom of the cabinet

The locations are shown on page 8 in the attached manual. The manual is too large to attach, so here is page 8 showing the screw locations.

I found all 6 of the screws and removed them. I can pull it out at the top but the bottom just won’t move. There is a wood trim piece on the bottom but it looks like the fridge sits in it. I can’t imagine that piece was installed after the fridge was installed. What else could be holding it or is it just that heavy?

It just quit working. I did every test I could find but it just won’t cool. I don’t see any yellow powder residue. We’ve been wanting to switch to residential for years so it seemed like the perfect opportunity. I just can’t get the dang thing out.

David, our 1350 (same unit) went to **** on our RV in Wisconsin last summer. $7,800 to replace, L & M and $3,000 for cooling unit only, L & M.
We jerked it out, not tenderly I might add, and installed a Mora brand fridge, looks great, 5 year warranty, delivered and installed, $1,400.
PM me for photos and particulars. Fits fine and very cold.

And, yes, it does come in the front door (both doors came off the fridge). It is black and about 18 cubic feet.

You say you “jerked” it out lol, is there any reason to remove the wood trim at the bottom? Or will it slide out without taking it off?

The RV is a Jayco Eagle, and there is a wood strip at the bottom that is an integral part of the exterior trim. We had to slide it over this 1x2.
