Had a flat on our 2023 Passport (Trailer Kings). Considering using spare for this summer(only 2 short trips planned). Will replace the flat (sidewall nail, not repairable) with Carlisle. Current size is 225/75/R15D. Any problems with replacing with E rated ? 10 ply vs 8, higher load rating.

Whatever you decide on the rating, replace all the tires before your next trip. Current tires are just waiting to fail. Carlisle is a great brand.

My camper came with LRD tires originally and I have replaced these now a couple times with Calstar ST225/75E15 (LRE) tires. I have not had a problem and doubt your wheels will have issues holding the pressure as I keep my tires at 80PSI. Carlisle is now branded Calstar. I would lose the Trailer Kings ASAP.

I did not know that about the rebranding. Makes sense now as to why Discount Tire stopped carrying them.

Anything with the words "trailer" or "king" in the name should come off ASAP. IMHO.
