Has anyone with a large ceiling fan found a good replacement that actually moves air around? Yes it’s going in the proper direction and yes it’s on high speed and yes we tried it in reverse. It makes no sense. Looks like your basic cheap home depot ceiling fan, it is spinning quite fast yet it moves very little air. I saw a post somewhere else where the person complained about the ceiling fan in their Alpine and he said he replaced it with one that worked better, I asked for more specifics but the question was never answered. Anyone have suggestions other than just trying them and returning them until one works? Tia

I have the exact same RV(2022) with the exact same fan and the exact same issue. My thinking is it can't move any air because it is in a cubby hole and the fan blades are within inches of the ceiling. Mine was so bad that I just added the third AC unit to it last week. Unless you get a fan that moves the blades away from the ceiling I don't think anything will help.

If it drops down lower the blades will hit the slides when in.

Yea, I hadn't looked at slide clearance. I have no intention of changing mine out so that hadn't occurred to me. If that's the case there's really not much you can do in my opinion. Yes Scranton, but my Scranton is in South Carolina.

Some things on a ceiling fan in an RV;

A ceiling fan should optimally be no less than 1' from the ceiling and I doubt yours (or mine) is - although mine moves a good amount of air. The blades, as noted, have to be high enough to clear the slides when they come in so they really can't be dropped. The more pitch the blades have the more air they will move. Those on the fan in the picture look pretty flat. My trailer isn't here or I would look at mine because I think they have more pitch - and ours blows enough air I can feel it coming in the front door. Also when they get that close to the ceiling (as they appear to be) in an RV it becomes difficult for the blades to find air to pull. If you have an angle finder/gauge measure the pitch on the blades - look for 12-15 degrees -remember more angle = more air pull.
