Casa grande to gulf shores in late March

Hi all
We have a Class A motorhome and flat towing a jeep. We will be Going from Casa Grande Az to Gulf Shore AL in late March on Hwy 10.
Never traveled this way What should I look out for or stay way from? Such as bypass around San Antonio or Houston anything else

I've done that route sooooooo many times (but all the way to Tampa)...
Through El Paso is exciting, in the perjorative sense of the word... but going around it is impractical.
Cheapest fuel prices are usually just NE of San Antonio on Loop 1604, which is about the same distance as going straight through town and somewhat less nerve-wracking.
Through Houston is tedious and sketchy, almost always construction. Around Houston is about $35.
Same for New Orleans. Take I-12, which is free and about the same distance.
Gulfport and Biloxi is beautiful country. Enjoy!
