Black tank collapse

Ya’ll are scaring me  Now I’m thinking i should have bought something used as opposed to new
Our decision was research based. One of the big things for us was we don’t have a truck large enough to pull/move to a dealer for repairs. We could not locate a dealer than allowed mobile techs…(WHOLE other thread to discuss techs) so one year 1 year old unit, lightly used : pay for the aftermarket warranty that covers what warranty’s cover. (So far: oven door, generator fuel pump, loose floor on slide, and now a good portion of the tank) and feel it was a good value. Paid $500 for a detailed 3rd party certified inspector prior to contract signing.
Original cost is easily researched- with generator, solar and slide toppers added by 1rst owner. - Their loss through just depreciation in the year and a half was about 60k - our gain.
Knowing the mark up on stuff, we were able to get a 130k trailer for 78 with a strong warranty.
No regrets- we love the trailer and the lifestyle.
Thanks to all who have chimed in!
Happy trails to all.

Our rear black tank… fell out while parked. Woke up to , well you can guess what we woke up to!
The tank when built was held in place ONLY by 2 manufacturers installed nylon straps! Warranty company only replaces the tank and plumbing. Leaving us $1,000 out of pocket.
So time for questions:
1. No other support other than nylon straps for securing tanks in place? (We HD tech install cross bars)
2. Defect, lazy build, etc? Does anyone know if Keystone should reimburse or have any experience with this?
Thanks.
Question #2 is “mostly the way it’s done”. Get by & Not get it right.
Nylon Straps sounds about par… the metal banding was rusting through. Had a friend loose a half full FW tank when metal banding broke.

I'm with OP. These nylon straps are concerning. There is NO additional support other than these straps for my 32 gallon black and gray tanks. Since they hang below the frame rails I'm not sure what I can do the reinforce these things... open to ideas!!!!!

If you look at the front and back of the tank, there is a lip that sits on a cross beam. One beam may be welded and the other secured with self tapping screws through the frame. The strap is there to help prevent bulging, and IMO thick fabric straps are better than metal as they won’t cut into the tank.
