Hi All,
Bought a 2010 Laredo 321BH last October (at the Timonium RV Show) and enjoy it a lot. It's our first camper - yep, skipped the pop-up and went right to 5th wheel bliss. Two young kids, a 100 lb. black lab, wife and a friend or two and we're cozy. It's easy to tow and I think I've got a pretty good handle on backing it in, too.
I pull with a 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic 3500 (Duramax / Allison combo) and have had no issues. Would like to invest in some extras under the hood from Banks, but it's not necessary yet. If I had to choose one item it'd be the SpeedBrake.
Like others here, I've spent a little bit of time cursing at the black tanks and associated plumbing and had my nostrils burned last weekend! The unit has two black tanks and one has cleaning device built-in but the other doesn't...? You can imagine which smells more fragrant.
We spend a lot of time with our camping mentors and have seen: Morris Meadows (Freeland, MD), Hagerstown KOA, Holiday Park (MD Eastern Shore near Wilmington, DE), Muddy Run (near Delta,PA), KOA ( Enfield, NC), Ocean Lakes (Myrtle Beach, SC) and RV Resort at Carolina Crossing. The list grows.
Currently looking for a propane powered genset, but that won't be any time soon. I don't see any boondocking in our immediate future.
