Alpine 3303CK Powered power cord reel not working

While retracting my power cord, the reel stopped, but the motor still runs when activated with rocker switch.

I believe either a shaft key or gear has broken….

Question to group is, how do you remove the REEL assembly from trailer?
Looking from underneath the unit does not seem removable without cutting the steel box that it sits in….

Any info would be appreciated.

I will look at mine shortly when I'm under mine installing my cross members and see how it comes out.

There have been some recent threads from Alpine owners (might be different models?) where they had to cut the box open to get the reel out.

Try a search on here with keywords "cord reel"

Sorry to say, I looked under mine today when installing my cross members and I don't see any way to get it out. I have a short outer skin panel back there that I would likely remove when the need arises or use the Metabo and cut the bottom out.

You will have to remove the paneling to be able to remove that powered cord reel and repair it

UPDATE 2/10/25:
The rear corner panel was easily remoced with 10 screws... reel assembly was fully accessible. I found drive chained had come off. Motor attachme t bolts were finger tight. Put back together and all works. Fix was less than 2 hrs and zero parts dollars ($1 worth of silicone). photos below
