Alaskan roads and 3 season doors......on the road bush fix for both sides.
The bottom hinge part, for lack of a better term, on both sides snapped off.
I will claim poor installation technique at the factory as the second picture clearly shows I had to use a piece of wood as a spacer and some washers I had to space it up. The problem was it failed there because there is too much space at the top for the little tab to stay in the slot. If you don't have the doors you probably won't understand what I'm saying. But if your doors come loose you'll immediately understand.
By spacing the bottom up and on one side I had to space the top down with a washer to make the space smaller and allow this to work and be able to capture the door on it's hinges again.
 
We are thinking that the install on our doors on the 22 are different, so I am hoping that this will not be a problem. But thank you for the information just in case we do have this later.
