Getting ready for a 6 week adventure to Yellowstone, Glacier, Banff, Tetons and spots in between. I need to replace the old jumper cable that connects the two 6volt batteries in series. What gauge wire is recommended?
I would also like to change out the two battery boxes for a single battery box. However I have limited space on the existing battery storage rack, maximum length of 25.5" and width of 8.25". Any recommendations? I found a Camco product for approximately $24 but all others seem to be in excess of $100 and most are two large for my space.
