Hello all first time poster here, this is my first rv 2024 sunset trail ss222rb travel trailer. Well to be honest it's been nothing but issues since day one most have been resolved but I continue to have a problem with the outlets not running when on battery or solar power the freedom x 2000 inverter doesn't show any warnings or errors, when plugged into shore all outlets work or when running on generator. I've checked all GFI outlets, I've checked breakers and fuses. And I'm at a loss. Could use help because the manual on our RV is a "general 2024 lineup manual" and is garbage. I was a 12v mecp certified tech so I have knowledge in electrical work and am stumped at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Also wanted to mention we had the original inverter warranty swapped for same problem and still the problem is persistent. Even though after 2 months in warranty the techs said it was all good hasn't worked as far as I know

Just a question to clarify a point: You say "ALL the outlets work when on shore/generator power".. but they don't ALL work when on "inverter power"... Is that correct ????

If so, the inverter system is intended and wired to provide power ONLY TO SPECIFIC OUTLETS. The inverter system is NOT INTENDED TO POWER ALL THE TRAILER 120VAC SYSTEMS. ALSO, THE CONVERTER/CHARGER IN THE POWER SUPPLY SHOULD NOT BE OPERATIONAL....

On most Keystone trailers, the inverter powers "up to 7 outlets in the trailer"... It will not power the converter/charger. To do that would defeat the intended purpose by using "battery power to invert to power the charger to charge the battery".... That would create a "power hungry vicious circle" that would only consume battery power to charge the battery. Sort of like filling a bowl by dipping water from the bowl to fill it back up....

So, for clarification: Which outlets are you talking about? Are they marked "solar" or "inverter" ??? And, what was the reason for warranty replacement of your original inverter ???

This might sound overly basic, but do you have the inverter disconnect turned so that it is in the correct position? You have three total disconnects and they all need to be in the right position.

Keep in mind that the ONLY thing solar does is charge the batteries. Solar does not run anything whatsoever.

The Xantrex inverter also has a “sleep mode” that requires a restart if it was on and unused for a certain period of time. The reset cannot be done remotely, it has to be done on the inverter itself. Mine is a Progressive Dynamics inverter so I happily have all the benefits of the Xantrex with none of the issues.

Lastly, as John mentioned; you have “up to” 7 outlets that will run off the inverter. On mine, those are located on each side of the main bed, the bedroom TV, a kitchen outlet, living room TV, outdoor refrigerator outlet, and an outlet in the front passthrough. The other 7 outlets in my camper are operational on shore power only.

The battery disconnect, the inverter switch, and breaker switch. I even tried forcing it to battery mode on the settings on the freedom x, and still nothing.

Xantrex has an app you could load onto your phone that will give some insight into what the inverter thinks is happening. For example, it will tell you whether it is in shore power mode or inverting mode. It will also tell you how much power is being used.

The inverter has many settings one of those may not be allowing the Inverter to operate properly.

Now that I think of it you may need to have the remote display/control panel to use it.
